The club will once again be participating in the annual WAUSSAUK photography competition. This is the 3rd year for Charlotte Camera Club. This year the Paignton Photographic Club in the UK is the host club. The first year we placed 1st and last year we placed 2nd.

WAUSSAUK is a friendly, international competition between four club on four different continents. No prizes are awarded, but a PowerPoint of all the images with the scores will be created and shared with all clubs.

There are four clubs participating in this international salon. We call it a salon as there are no prizes given

Rules

Here are the Rules and Guidelines agreed to by the three other clubs:
  1. The theme will be “Open”.
  2. A maximum of two images per photographer can be submitted.
  3. There will be two categories for 2021:
    • Color
    • B/W
      Landing a Punch
  4. All four clubs will enter a total of 25 images each.
  5. It does not matter how many photos are entered in the Color category or the B/W category, as long as the total number of images submitted by each club does not exceed 25.
  6. There will be scoring for the Color category and scoring for the B/W category.
  7. The scores will be combined to get the final scores to determine the overall winning club.
  8. The images must not have been submitted to a past WAUSSAUK competition.
  9. There are no restrictions on the age of the images.
  10. The dimensions of each image may not exceed 1920 pixels in width and 1080 pixels in height.
  11. The file size of each image file may not exceed 2MB.
  12. Images must be in .JPG format
  13. The file name must be in the format: WAUSSAUK-Image Title-Photographer Name.jpg (with dashes between WAUSSAUK, title and photographer, and spaces between words.)

Guidelines for CCC Members:

    • Submit up to 2 photos by midnight Dec 1.
    • Use the sizing dimensions mentioned above.
    • Use the file name format mentioned above.
